Nintendo Game Coding
About our coding class
What is Scratch?
In Scratch, programs are made by joining together colored blocks using the mouse. These groups of blocks (called scripts) tell characters on the screen (called sprites) what to do. Sprites are used for all the objects we want to move or control.
About our class
We scoured the Scratch website and assembled a collection of the most popular game sprites. Choose characters from Undertale, Pokémon, Nintendo, Minecraft and even classic characters like Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Sonic, and Mario! Possible games created: Mario Kart, Pokémon Pong, and Sonic Frogger. Bring a USB drive to save your games on the last day, or they can be emailed to parents.
